Art Journalling

I've recently started having a go at a form of scrapbooking called 'Art Journalling'. There are no rules, anything goes and as long as you like it and it's meaningful to you in some way it's fine. I personally find it very hard.

I was never much good at freeform embroidery either. I sort of need guidelines to work to. Normally a photo serves as a focal point to a page but a page without a photo seems harder somehow. You need another focal point. This could be an element, a quote or nothing at all.

I did this but I'm not sure I like it. I found the quote which seemed quite relevant.
